Thank You!

We want to take this time to thank our wonderful clients and friends for commissioning us to create Imaginative Florals for your most special events.

We wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving and look forward to many more celebrations in the future.

Instead of an event, we decided to post some Thanksgiving tables from the past.

Basketball Bar Mitzvah for Michael at the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey

We recently created decor for Michael’s Bar Mitzvah party. I wanted to share some of the many fun details of this stylish party. The escort cards were made to look like game tickets.

Guests were greeted as they walked in with a giant letter M that we covered in mock-crocodile surrounded by floral basketballs.

The kids were led into an locker room with activities coordinated by aj Steinberg.

The table linen overlay was basketball leather.  We created these whimsical, yet elegant centerpieces using copper tubing, basketballs, pincushion protea, Mokara orchids and Monstera leaves.

We created three long tables with low centerpieces to surround the dance floor.

Guests could enjoy viewing the dance floor from the lounge area complete with custom pillows.

We created a graphic scoreboard frame for the video screen using the clients last name for the stadium.

The Bar Mitzvah boy couldn’t have been more popular making his entrance with the Laker Girls Cheerleaders.

The challah table and candlelighting piece was made with miniture basketballs.

Check out this  fantastic cupcake buffet with this incredible cake from The Butter End. The basketball portion actually rotated with an internal motor.  So Cool!

Rob and Kirsten in Pasadena

We love a garden wedding. It is even more special in a treasured friends garden. We were honored to create florals for Rob and Kirsten in Pasadena.

The bride carried Green Beauty roses, Stephanotis, cream spray roses, and Star of India foliage wrapped with silk cording.

The bridesmaids carried Cherry Brandy roses, Macarena spray roses, and Hypericum berries.

The ceremony took place in the front yard under an Amalfi Cabana complete with chandelier.

The adorable ring-bearer handed out the boutonnieres made with yellow Billy Balls, Star of India foliage accented with a copper wire coil.

Seersucker Suits were the perfect feeling for this outdoor summer wedding.

Cocktail hour followed in the  front garden with fantastic mini-burgers with blue cheese and caramelized onions prepared by Michael Brooks of Bread and Butter Catering.

The food was so beautiful, Ihad to include a few images. These are roasted vegetable torte bites.

These are seared Ahi Tuna with a green olive tapanade. Yum!

The reception was in the back yard garden with Amalfi furniture and  Canopies. Dinner and dancing under the stars followed.

The buffet florals composed of squill, sunflowers and orchids complemented the beautiful linens from Napa Valley Linens.

Great looking Caprese salad skewers.

The bridal couple enjoyed reclining under the canopy while watching their guests enjoy themselves. What a wonderful evening.
