We recently created florals for this beautiful wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village.

The gorgeous bridal bouquet included garden roses Eden, Sweet Avalanche and Polar Star with Duchesse de Nemours Peonies. The only greenery in the bouquet was a collar of Lemon Lime, Maranta Marisela foliage.

The brides maids carried  bouquets of ‘Bombay Pink’ Celosia, Majolica spray roses, Topaz and Faith rose, Pink dis-bud spider mums, Maranta leaves and loops of variegated Japanese lily grass.

The grooms boutonniere was a double Dendrobiun with an accent of Hypericum, seeded Eucalyptus and loops of variegated Japanese lily grass.

The aisle was designed in whimsical curves and ombre  flower shapes winding down the aisle.

The bridal party was led through the gorgeous floral carpet to the wedding canopy was loaded with Dendrobium orchids and clusters of pink roses.

The ring bearers brought the little flower girl down the aisle in a custom painted pink wagon.

The flower girl was prepared with her Pink Flash Spray rose Pomander with matching Barbie flower girl.

Rose filled fabric covered planter boxes lined the beautiful petal covered aisle.

Along the back of the canopy, we created a curtain of  dripping crystals and frosted disk garlands. Lime green hanging Amaranthus and Dendrobium orchids accented the drape

After cocktails, the guests were led into the dramatic chandelier filled ballroom.

The sweetheart table was placed in between the cake table and the glossy white round dance floor.

We made three different styles of centerpieces.  We selected White and Lemonade Hydrangeas, Faith and Vendela roses and Cafe au lait Dahlias for this beautiful tall vase arrangement.

Our sleek crystal candelabras were adorned crystal garlands to give it that little extra “Bling”.  We combined Hawaiian Dendrobium Orchids, cascading Lime green Amaranthus   with Faith and Vendela roses.

The tables were beautifully dressed featuring gold dusted white chocolate menus.

The towering cake  seemed to float over a bed of open roses on our raised glass cake table.

Rachel and David Wedding at  Paramount Ranch

Our bride had the advantage of working on many weddings for renowned wedding photographer, Susan Bordelon.

Rachel came to us with a clear idea of what she wanted, and let us run with it.  Rachel requested a color scheme of matte grey, white and deep red with a yellow accent.

The bride carried white peonies, Blushing Bride Protea, rock quartz crystals and for the first time ever, spiraling silver grey leaves of the Tillansia xerographica.

The groom’s boutonniere was silver grey thistle wrapped in silk cording.

Owning a lapidary business in Minnesota, Rachel’s Parents sent her the rock quartz crystal, Hematite and Jasper  stones used in the wedding. When I saw the metallic pewter color Hematite, I knew that we would have fun creating bouquets out of succulents, berries and stones.

The ceremony took place under the shade of a giant Coast Live Oak at the Paramount Ranch.

The Paramount Ranch was purchased in the 1920’s by Paramount studios and provides amazing backdrops for wedding photos.

This location has hosted a veritable who’s who of Hollywood including director Cecil B. Demille and actors Bob Hope, Gary Cooper and Claudette Colbert.   From 1992 to 1997, Paramount Ranch was used as the setting for the television show, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

Everywhere you looked, the surroundings made you believe that you stepped into a western film.  Escort cards were displayed in front of the saloon windows.

The reception took place in a big barn providing authentic ambiance for the rustic fantasy evening.

Vintage lace runners were laid donw the center of these natural wood plank tables.  Banana leaf plates and bamboo flatware were the perfect complements to this rustic elegant wedding.

Rock Quartz crystals swirled around the vintage silver and grey painted bottles.

Romantic swagged Tivoli lights created a warm glowing ambiance.  The centerpiece vases were filled with white China mums, bachelor buttons, deep red Gerberas and yellow Craspedia. Succulents, gardenias, and white selenite candle holders were clustered around the vases.

After a fantastic reception the bride and groom drove away in their vintage car.
