Erin and Danny at the Music Center

Erin and Danny’s wedding ceremony took place in the lobby of the historic Dorothy Chandler Music Center.

It was a pure joy to work with this couple, there was not one sign of stress and all you could feel with the great love they have for each other. To create this beautiful setting pale cream Vendela roses were the perfect color for tone on tone creams.

The brides bouquet was composed of Crystal Ice mini-callas, snow berry and a collar of dusty miller.

The bridesmaids carried Mango and Sunrise colored mini-callas with Scabiosa seedpods and St. John’s Wort berries to contrast with their chocolate brown dresses.

The reception was on the top floor of the music center with a full view of the city skyline and San Gabriel Mountains.   We designed full mixed garden flowers in a light fall palette.

Antique hydrangeas, magnolia and oak foliage formed a base for Vendela and Crème de la Crème roses, ivory Asiatic lilies, tangerine Macarena spray roses and Golden Leopard Aranda orchids.  Gold antiqued mercury glass votives gave a warm and shimmery glow to the evening.

The photographers, Robert and Felicia, worked so great together. They really knew how to capture the full emotional feeling of this wedding.  Their travel photography is beautiful too! We hope to work together soon as they were highly professional and were fun to work with.

Liza and Jordan

We are so proud to be featured on Style Me Pretty this week for this beautiful late summer wedding. See the link at the end to see more gorgeous photos by Heather Kincade.

This outdoor Pacific Palisades wedding took place at the historical Laughton Estate.  This home was once owned by Charles Laughton ( the Hunchback of Notre Dame) and Elsa Lancaster ( the Bride of Frankenstein). Marilyn Monroe and Shelly Winters studied acting on the estate in the 1940’s.

It is absolutely stunning with fantastic views of the Pacific.

The Chuppah was formed from four White Paper-bark Birch logs with garlands of cream roses and huckelberry.

The escort cards were sitting in rustic boxes filled with  a bed of freshly harvested English Lavender from a friend of the florist’s lavender fields.

Liza carried a beautiful bouquet of Crystal Ice Mini-Calla Lilies with a collar of Dusty Miller and Galax leaves wrapped in a taupe ribbon.

The sweetheart table overlooked Will Rogers beach with a garland of hydrangea and beige roses with clusters of mercury glass votives.

As we were driving back to the studio we saw a double rainbow and knew that this was a magical moment. we were so glad that Heather captured it so beautifully.
