Conservation International Gala at the Montage Beverly Hills

We created centerpieces for Conservation International Gala honoring Disney for Commitment to Nature Conservation at the Montage Hotel In Beverly Hills.

The focus for the theme was the work that Disney has done in the Peruvian Rain forest.

We have worked with this group for years. It was very interesting to discover how many plants and flowers originate from the Peruvian rainforest.

We created glass sphere ecosystems and sustainable re-purposed root ball tropical planters.

In recognition of its long history of commitment to sustainability and inspiring action for the environment, Conservation International (CI) honored Disney with its prestigious Global Conservation Leadership Award.
CI also provided Disney with key inputs into the company’s comprehensive long-term environmental strategy. As part of Disney’s commitment to address climate change, it has supported CI’s forest carbon projects in Peru and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Last month, CI announced it was “retiring” over 400,000 metric tons of carbon credits from the Alto Mayo forest carbon project in Disney’s name.

FIND ME MY MAN at the Langham Huntington Pasadena

Oxygen’s New Show “Find Me My Man” Press event at the Langham Huntington Pasadena

We recently filled the hotel’s Viennese Terrace with hot pink passionate pavé rose topiaries for a beautiful summer luncheon.

The tables were striking with the  purple Vanda orchid trimmed hot pink rose heart centerpieces.

Even the lemon garnished ice tea added to the beauty of this luncheon.

One thing we were curious about… What exactly is in the dating emergency kit favors?

We think this show should be fun with some of  Miami matchmaker Natalie Clarice’s tough love words to live by such as “Don’t come at me with the ‘Okie Dokie’ , if you want to play… go to the park”

Team Greenbean Celebration Party

We were asked to create florals for the Team Greenbean Celebration Party after the Autism Speaks Fundraiser Walk.

Lime Cymbidium orchids, Viburnum and Local lilac were displayed in Footed white glass cylinder vases.

It was perfect early summer Southern California weather for an outdoor party.

The centerpieces were filled with Ranunculus, Creme de la Creme  Roses, pincushion protea, and fragrant local Lilac.

For the all green candy bar display, we filled large apothecary jars with  Granny Smith Apples and Green Ball Dianthus.

This event is growing every year and we we are proud to be associated with this fantastic cause.

Team Greenbean, the group led by WME’s Ari Greenburg and Andrea Lee Greenburg are poised to top the $1 million mark in total donations raised through the walk over the past six years.

Autism Speaks has grown into the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism.

Great Gatsby Screening at the Directors Guild of America

Last week we created florals for the Foreign Press Screening of The Great Gatsby with Leonardo DeCaprio, Joel Edgerton and Toby McGuire.

It is opening this weekend and i can’t wait to see it.

After the screening, the Foreign Press were wined and dined with a beautiful Champagne reception. The food was “Classic Old School” and delicious . I was really excited to taste the Granny Smith Waldorf  Salad. How long has it been since you had that salad?

The flowers were tall mercury glass flutes filled with Casablanca Lilies and Calla Lilies.

This time setting, “The Roaring Twenties”, is such a popular and stylish wedding theme. We are looking forward to working on one this fall.
