Lindsay and Adam’s Romantic and Whimsical Fall Wedding at the Four Seasons at Beverly Hills

Lindsay and Adam’s Fall Wedding at the Four Seasons.

Last fall, we created a wonderful seasonal wedding in an imaginative color palette of cream, beige, and grey green with burgundy, navy and rose gold accents.

The bride carried ‘Garden Spirit’ Roses, ‘Crystal Blush’ Calla Lilies, champagne spray roses, Seeded Eucalyptus and dusty miller.

The bridesmaids loose garden style bouquets were composed of Vendela and Juliet Roses, Eryngium Sea Holly, burgundy Amaranthus, Nigella pods, Seeded Eucalyptus and dusty miller.

The Boutonnieres were plum mini-calla lilies with Eryngium Sea Holly and Seeded Eucalyptus.

As guests entered the ceremony area, a rose petal station complete with monogrammed bags were provided for the guests.

Collections of beige, cream and parchment color pumpkins were staged on either side of the pergola.

Hanging bird cages filled with ivory pillar candles were attached to arching birch branches.

Garlands of antique colored hydrangeas, fresh hop vines, hanging burgundy Amaranthus, white paperbark birch and clusters of roses Cascaded over the pergola.

In the cocktail area,we constructed white paper birch lantern chandeliers on either side of the hallway that were embellished with antique hydrangea and Amaranthus garlands.

The escort cards were inserted into the gold brushed stems of miniature white pumpkins placed on a bed of fresh green mood moss.

The twelve foot tall birch trees filled with lanterns and little white string lights looked magical as the evening progressed.

Wonderful long floral arrangements meandered down the table with tall antiqued wooden candlesticks.

Clusters of red and black grapes with burgundy dahlias complemented the cranberry cut crystal water glasses.

Burgundy calla lilies were tucked into fresh curly willow napkin rings for that added extra touch.

The bride and grooms chairs were festooned with floral and greenery garlands.

After dinner the escort card table was transformed into a sweets table featuring pie “pops” in birch bark lined boxes.

It was a great pleasure creating this magical wedding for this special family.

Stacy and Ricky at the Montage Hotel Beverly Hills

Stacey and Ricky at the Montage Hotel, Beverly Hills

I was so excited to share this wonderful couples wedding.

When they shared with me the story of their engagement, I was just blown away.

The groom prepared a surprise proposal engagement party at an art gallery. He had photo highlights of their relationship, enlarged, mounted and hung in the gallery with beautiful heartfelt captions.

What a surprise for the bride to see that the show was the photo depiction of their romance and then the proposal. So romantic and thoughtful.

For the wedding, we recreated the art gallery on the perimeter hedge walls of the ceremony area, so guests could enjoy the installation during cocktails after the ceremony.

The bride carried a Biedermeyer bouquet,  a style that features flowers arranges in concentric circles, consisting of Crystal Blush Calla Lilies, Stephanotis, and white peonies.

The bridesmaids, in a flattering variety of black dresses contrasted with their jewel-toned bouquets.

The bridesmaids carried callas and hydrangea in shades of purples with Fatsia foliage.

Being October, guests were offered pashminas for the outdoor terrace ceremony inscribed with the clever saying,

“To have and to hold , in case you get cold”.

Thousands of purple Dendrobium orchids created this modern floral canopy.

The orchids were hand-tied.on site, to create this one-of-a-kind disk-shaped chuppah.

A garland of purple Mokkara orchids was placed on this ceremonial table.

One of the most spectacular views, was from the pool terrace, where hotel guests watched from above.

The floating escort card table supported a collection of vases filled with bouquets of Burgundy Cymbidium, purple Rothschild Vanda Orchids and hot pink Calypso Mokkara Orchids.

the long tables were filled with tall purple Dendrobium Orchid floral clouds.

At the table level, groupings of geometric mirror finish cubes, laid out in a pattern, were filled with hot pink peonies, Rothschild Vanda Orchids, and Mokkara Orchids.

As the evening progressed, the lighting enhanced the dramatic decor.

burgundy succulents were places on the menu filled napkins.

The multi-tierd stacked wedding cake was circled in Rothschild Vanda purple orchid.

Beverly Hills Trolley, provided the perfect stetting for their bridal party photo.

We are so happy for this wonderful family and great couple.

Exciting new lily variety – Roselily

Later this month, we will be exhibiting in China for our friends at Van den Bos Flower Bulbs.

Van den Bos is one of the largest suppliers of lily, freesia, and calla lily bulbs in the world and supplying nearly a million flower bulbs every day of the year.

We are so excited to share their featured new varieties of double-flowering oriental lilies with you. They are just starting to be availabe here and there,  but supply is limited at this time.

They are called Roselilies. Click on the screen below to see them open up.

The fantastic thing about these lilies is they are double-petaled and come in the full spectrum of oriental lilies colors from white, blush, pink, magenta and fuchsia .

Then if that wasn’t enough, They don’t have any pollen! This is a wonderful quality as there is no need to remove messy pollen before it falls or stains your clothing.

They are lightly scented and have a super long vase life.

Roselily composite flower bouquets are fast and beautiful using the Roselily varieties. I think this one looks like a dinner plate dahlia, but it is sturdier and has a nice fragrance.

Karin and Hart’s Wedding at Saddlerock Ranch Malibu

We love weddings at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu.

We have created beautiful wedding flowers for all three daughters of this family.

All three sisters had distinctive ideas regarding their wedding decor.

Bridal Bouquet

Our bride carried a beautiful bouquet of  Vendela, Crème de la Crème and David Austin Patience Garden Roses with accents of Lemon Vision Spray Roses, lite blue hydrangea, dusty miller and Stephanotis.

Her beautiful bridesmaids carried bouquets of blue hydrangea, Vendela roses and Dusty Miller.

The adorable flower girls wore wreaths of seeded Eucalyptus and carried birch bark moss lined baskets.

For Karin and Hart’s ceremony, we decided to to site the ceremony facing the oak grove.

Herb filled French galvanized flower buckets and vintage iron garden lanterns were grouped down the aisle.

ceremony area

The wedding canopy was created using pale blue shades of Hydrangea, lime green hanging Amaranthus, Southern Magnolia, dusty miller, Crème de la Crème, Message and Vendela roses.

I love this family tradition, every couple has their name sewn into the bridal canopy.

A hand lettered sign and steamer trunk filled with jasmine and herbs led guests to the ceremony.

Framed wedding photos were displayed of the many generations of family members.

Three different styles of centerpieces were used, featuring green grapes and birch bark containers.

The long tables had our tall vintage candlesticks and striped table runners.

We surrounded the monogrammed cake with a magnolia garland.

We are so happy for this wonderful couple and glad they thought to take a evening photo under the canopy.
